Branch Leadership

  • Sam Waltemeyer, Interim Director of Youth

I  am a SW Houston native who went to Westbury Christian High School. I received a BBA in Marketing from West Texas A&M University in 2011. During the summer of 2012, I began employment at Westbury as the Admin. Assistant to the Youth and Children's Ministries. In September 2016 I was blessed to step into the role Interim Director of Youth, and am loving it. When not at Westbury, you will often find me spending time with friends, exploring Houston or playing soccer.

  • The Branch Adult Leader Fellowship

The Branch Adult Leader Fellowship is the official name for the group of adults who have selflessly committed themselves to the Branch Youth Ministry in various roles, including K-Group leader, Wednesday Night Live chaperone and more. The Adult Leaders are some of the most loving and supportive people you will ever meet, and we are so blessed to have them with us every step of the way.

  • Youth Ministry Interns

Every summer at Westbury we are blessed to bring in a male and female intern to work with our students. The interns are an invaluable part of ministry and we look forward to having them being a part of each summer. Our two interns in summer 2017 are seated on the left side of the table in this picture. Rebecca Thompson was our female intern. She is a graduate of Harding University and is a school teacher in the area. She often serves as an adult leader for us during the school year when she is free. Zachary Price was our male intern. He is an LSU transfer from UH, and will be back to help us as often as he can. They did an incredible job in 2017.
